For the first 8 months as an MP I entered each individual expense on this website as it was paid. However the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority has now begun to publish all expense claims made by MPs on their dedicated website.

Given that it is now possible to search for specific individual expense details that I have made as an MP and given IPSA will continue to publish claims on a two month cycle, the timetable of which can be viewed here, I have decided to encourage constituents to use this authoritative source to examine my expenses. I am of course more than happy to answer any questions on any aspect of expense claims that I have made.

In my view there should be complete transparency for all expense claims and MPs, like all public sector employees, should never forget that they are spending taxpayers' money.
