Griffin School and the Salisbury Playhouse

Another school visit today, just as the schools are starting to go back. Griffin School (for little ones), on the Castle Road, has a lot to offer the community and I wish it every success to the future. After the school, I went to the Salisbury Playhouse and met the Executive Director and the leadership team, and I'm pleased to see this centre of culture for Salisbury is doing well, and I will endeavour to support it as much as I can as the spending round discussions conclude. A letter to the Arts Council and Secretary of State will be going out shortly! The shows I have seen there have been great, and I am sure the standard will be maintained....
