Helping make a dream come true for a 16-18 year old

I have been contacted by Childrens Chance, a local charity, which has £1000 to give to a young person in Salisbury aged between 16 and 18.

Applications close on 1st May 2011 for the first award of the Bobbie Chettleburgh Grant, which gives an opportunity for a young person living in the SP1 or SP2 postcode areas to experience something that would otherwise be out of their reach financially, for example a gap year, a rugby tour, an orchestral tour, a community project overseas, a football academy, tennis coaching, school ski trip etc

If you know a deserving young person for whom £1000 could make all the difference, go to www.childrenschance.co.uk for more information.
