Ladbrokes Charity Bet

Today, I was delighted to accept an invitation from Ladbrokes to visit the Salisbury branch in Fisherton Street and chat with staff and punters.

While I was there, Ladbrokes kindly offered me a £50 charity bet and, after much deliberation, I plumped for what I hope will be a sure thing - a double on Salisbury City FC and Southampton FC to each gain promotion this year.

For the remainder of the season, I will be keeping a particularly close eye on the fortunes of our two local high-fliers!

Speaking of which, what a great result for City on Saturday against Wrexham. Let's hope the Whites can go marching on to further Trophy glory!
