Chance to be Chancellor

Economic policy is a more contentious issue than ever now, and I am pleased that more of my younger constituents are interested in the issue. The Citizenship Foundation, in partnership with Aviva, have launched their 'Chance to be Chancellor' campaign that seeks to involve young people in making difficult decisions about taxation and spending policies.

Last year, 3000 people contributed and the first ever 'Youth Budget' was created. This year, it seeks to repeat its success as a national competition, and invites all young people between 14-18 to contribute with the chance of winning an iPad and a visit to the Treasury.
